As promised I am going to share the recipe of this rice flavored with whole spices, fresh herbs and deep fried brown onion. You can serve this rice as accompaniment with a spicy, indian meat or chicken dish. It is very simple and easy. So let us get started. Ingredients: 1 cup basmati rice 3 cardamom pods 1 clove 1 small piece of cinnamon salt 2 onions oil 2 tbsp of mint leaves chopped 2 tbsp of coriander leaves chopped Method: Soak the rice for 30 minutes. Slice the onions into thin rings. Deep fry in oil with 1/2 tsp of ghee and a pinch of salt until golden brown. The salt helps in making it a beatiful golden colour and crisp.
