Healthy oat cookies

  So talking about teatime, something to snack on and oh ...the sweet cravings we all get at times or should I say very often. Yes this is a fact that we want to have something sweet here and then especially I think when we are tired after doing a lot of work or when we are feeling down. At teatime also something sweet is very much appreciated.    When I want to make something very quickly,  I can only think of cookies as they are my favorite.I love making and eating cookies. The good thing about cookies is that it is very easy, does not need many ingredients and are made with everything you already have in your pantry. Rice with herbs and brown onion

    As promised I am going to share the recipe of this rice flavored with whole spices, fresh herbs and deep fried brown onion. You can serve this rice as accompaniment with a spicy, indian meat or chicken dish. It is very simple and easy. So let us get started.      Ingredients: 1 cup basmati rice 3 cardamom pods 1 clove 1 small piece of cinnamon salt 2 onions oil 2 tbsp of mint leaves chopped 2 tbsp of coriander leaves chopped    Method:     Soak the rice for 30 minutes. Slice the onions into thin rings. Deep fry  in oil with 1/2 tsp of ghee and a pinch of salt until golden brown. The salt helps in making it a beatiful golden colour and crisp. Remove onto a plate and leave to cool. Meat curry with almonds

It is the first time since the festive season has gone that I made an elaborate  dish. And it was on the occasion to commemorate the death of a very very outstanding, religious and great  person. So after a quick reference through my notes I decided to make this delicate and mouthwatering meat dish. It was specially made to share with the poor, family and friends.
